The 3rd Discovery Bay Open Water Race Challenge & Family Relay

The 3rd Discovery Bay Open Water Race Challenge & Family Relay is an open water swim race event that suits swimmers of all abilities. The race day consists of 3 solo swim races (3.8km, 1.7km, and 400m), and a 400m swim relay. We emphasize a friendly racing atmosphere, welcoming all swimmers from beginners to the elites racing in an epic scenic setting at Discovery Bay.

The first 300 swimmers who sign up for the 1.7km or 3.8km swim race will receive a free "THINKSPORT Sunscreen SPF 50 3oz" worth $139.

All Top 3 podium winners at the 1.7km and 3.8km races will receive ZONE 3 goggles. Champion: ZONE 3 VAPOUR swim goggles; 1st Runner-up: ZONE 3 VENATOR-X swim goggles; 2nd Runner-up: ZONE 3 ATTACK goggles.
Participants can enjoy a discount rate at the Auberge Discovery Bay hotel and Splashtopia, a beach water park at Discovery Bay.
Shuttle bus service is available for 1.7km swimmers.
Overall female and male champions for the 1.7km and 3.4km races will receive the grand prize, "One Free Night Stay at Auberge Discovery Bay Hong Kong hotel."

第三屆愉景灣渡海泳賽及親子接力賽為公開水域泳賽, 提供3.8公里 / 1.7 公里 / 400m 個人賽及 400m 接力賽。比賽起步分別位於迪士尼碼頭，三白灣沙灘和大白灣沙灘，終點在愉景灣之主沙灘 - 大白灣沙灘。我們着重愉快的競賽氣氛，鼓勵新加入之泳手以致資深泳手參加。

首300名報名參加1.7公里或3.8公里游泳比賽的游泳選手將免費獲得價值139元的「THINKSPORT Sunscreen SPF 50 3oz」。

Storage of Personal Belongings 個人物件:

For the 1.7 km and 3.8 km participants, personal belongings (limited to one bag per participant) will be transported from the registration station to the baggage collection area at the finish line. Baggage storage is available for the 400m participants. Race organizers/volunteers have no responsibility for any loss or damage to the personal belongings.

Rules and Regulations 比賽規則

No one should join the race unless he/she is physically fit, and in excellent health condition.參賽者需確保具備良好體能及健康狀態，否則切勿參與此比賽。
Participants are required to meet the following cut-off times.
- 1.7km Swim Race: 70 mins；750m checkpoint : 31min
- 3.8km Swim Race: 130 mins; checkpoint 1(1.3km) :44mins, checkpoint 2 (2.3km) : 79mins
- 400m Swim Race (Individual): 18 mins
- 400m Swim Race (Relay): 36 mins
The organiser reserves the right to request participants to provide proof of competence. Failure to do so will not be allowed to participate in the race. 比賽單位可能要求泳手提供能夠於時限內完成比賽的相關證明，無法提供相關證明者將不獲參加比賽。
Participants are required to show their HKIDs or passportsat registration. 參加者須於登記時出示香港身分證或護照。
Participants must obey instructions to kayakers, helpers, and personnel of the race. Failure to do so will not be allowed to participate in the race or will be disqualified.泳手必須遵從艇手及支援人員的所有比賽安排指示。拒絕遵從者將被取消資格。
Participants will take full responsibility and safety during the race. 泳手於比賽期間須為自己的安全負上全部責任。
No swimmer is permitted to use any device that may be an aid to their speed or endurance such as fins, paddles, wetsuits. 泳手於比賽期間不可穿戴任何游泳輔助器具，包括但不限於Wetsuits, fins and paddles。
